About Me

Hello, and welcome to my practice. I am a board certified adult psychiatrist practicing in New York and New Jersey. I provide comprehensive and highly personalized mental health services, including psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. I look forward to getting to know you and understanding what brings you to treatment.

I completed my adult psychiatry residency at New York University Grossman School of Medicine, where I also served as Chief Resident. During training, I earned an award in clinical excellence and was chosen for a leadership fellowship by the American Psychiatric Association. I then stayed on at NYU in the role of Assistant Program Director for Residency Training and maintained a clinical practice at Bellevue Hospital. I remain on voluntary faculty at NYU and continue to teach and supervise resident physicians.

I treat mental health conditions such as mood disorders like depression and bipolar disorders, anxiety and panic disorders, trauma and grief. I have a special interest in treating women's related issues including but not limited to the perinatal period, as well as difficulties related to self-esteem, body image, relationships, and navigating major life transitions. I have advanced training in multiple psychotherapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I offer psychotherapy alone or in combination with medication. My style is compassionate and collaborative.

I provide treatment in English, French and Spanish. I offer both virtual sessions as well as in-person sessions in midtown Manhattan and Princeton, NJ.
