DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I am not in-network with any insurance. I will provide you with the necessary documentation to submit out-of-network claims. Prior to our first session, I strongly recommend speaking directly with your insurance company to determine your out-of-network benefits.

WHAT SHOULD I ASK MY INSURANCE COMPANY?
You may ask them about the any deductible you may have, as well as out-of-pocket maximum, and if there is different reimbursement for telepsychiatry services. The CPT codes I commonly use include initial psychiatric evaluation (90792), follow up visits (99213 or 99214, depending on level of service) with add-on psychotherapy codes (90833 or 90836, depending on time). For video sessions, a -95 modifier is added to each CPT code (e.g. 99213-95).

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
We will discuss fees in our introductory phone call. Fees for treatment are commensurate with board-certified psychiatrists in the tri-state area. A sliding scale may be available depending on your specific circumstances.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

A full fee will be charged for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than one week notice will be charged a half-fee unless I am able to reschedule you within the same week. Any exceptions to this policy are at the discretion of the practice.

DO YOU OFFER IN PERSON OR TELEHEALTH VISITS?
I offer both in person appointments in midtown Manhattan and Princeton, NJ as well as telehealth visits on a HIPAA compliant platform.

IN WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU OFFER TREATMENT?

I offer treatment in English, French, and Spanish.

WHAT IS YOUR AVAILABILITY?

Specific appointment times will be determined collaboratively and are primarily on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, during regular business hours.
